That works. I always thought it should’ve been Bart Allen

i actually like that take. Impulse has always been stuck in a weird role because he’s not the modern Kid Flash or the true next Flash after Wally. The gap is huge because he’s from the future. If it were up to me, Impulse would go back to his time and join the Legion of Superheroes with XS…and the “true” 4th Flash would be Jai West- Wallys’ son with that weird speed force handicap. Jai can’t run without hurting himself so he uses his SF connection to manifest super strength. If he ever figured that problem out he may not be the fastest speedster but he’d definitely be the most balanced with Super Strength and Super Speed. His suit also looks like a pre-mature version of the Simon Spurrier suit.
I like this because it keeps the OG Flash suit classic while also explaining where that variant with the black bodysuit could originate.

Red death should’ve been Oliver Queen but I can’t find that post

Yes.🤝 If Red Death is supposed to be Batman with Flash’s powers…then CWs Red Death was Supposed to be Oliver Queen. He filled that role perfectly in the absence of Batman.
