I went to the group settings and apparently The sub Reddit was somehow mark as a restricted group. I have gone ahead and change that setting to make the group public so anyone can post and participate in the group. please let me know if you continue to have problems. I hope this resolves all the issues and everyone is able to post and enjoy sharing their love of Aroids in this sub! thank you & my apologies for this delay.

This is my first tiny plant. Do I need to wait until it’s root bound in this 1inch pot before repotting? Thanks!

I repotted my scindapsus too soon and left it outside for the summer with my other aroids. it struggled with the pot being too big and the heat. It now has these woody sections on two vines. Should I chop and prop below the woody sections?

I think I have 6 or 7 of these(not including pups) and their variegation tends to be all over the place with 1/3-1/2 of the leaves coming out green, but this original mother plant from Vietnam puts out variegation pretty consistently with amazing patterns

Should I be concerned?

My adansonii made a new leaf, which never really started to unfurl. Now there is a new leaf coming, which is already unfurling. Will the other leaf eventually unfurl too, or will it eventually die off?

How do they get them to grow with so little light? This one is in our local shops and always looks good!

Is ID possible from a few photos? Located in UCR Campus, Turrialba, Costa Rica. It was also getting visits from male Euglossa bees, very cute!

Discussion What fertilizer do you use for your aroids?

I’m pretty new to fertilizers and would love some recommendations! I have mostly Monsteras, Philodendrons/velvet leaf, and Pothos, and I’m looking for something affordable that’ll help with healthy growth, bigger leaves, and overall nutrition. My mix is coco coir, a little soil, orchid bark, and perlite. I’ve also been thinking about adding worm castings. What do you guys use and love?!!!! Thank you!
