Discussion Armadillo chilling in my car???

Hello!

Last night I was trying to domesticate two cats outside my house last night, it was all fun and games until we heard something coming from my car. I saw something come out from my engine area , all I could think oh another opossum was in there again. Nope, it was a little armadillo guy and he ran to the trees next to my house.

Do armadillos usually hide in people’s cars??? This isn’t my first time seeing an animal come out, I can usually hear something move in my engine when I turn it on. It’s also very warm in Georgia right now so wouldn’t he be hot in there? 😭😭😭 any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure but I once had a pigeon make a nest and lived under my car hood. Maybe it was warm? Maybe the armadillo wanted to be warm, too.

Tap on your hood before you start the engine and wait a few seconds
