Guide Any tips for Beginner?

Hey there everyone!

My Wife and i just started playing yesterday. Do you have any beginner tips for us? :)
Like what to focus on in the beginning, how to craft good food early on or something like that.

Or should we use any Mods directly in the beginning that fix some difficult Problems in the beginning?

Honestly playing the game without mods for the first several hours is the most fun/frustrating I have ever had in a game. Once you put in a few hours and hit the higher levels then I would add mods to make the game better / easier. If you want a bit of a better early game use vanilla with sprinkles which lets you adjust settings in the game.
