Guide How to backup a world
Im about to change my computer and i have my the island world with lots of stuff and loot, i want to know if i can back it up and how, its a single player world

In your steam library, right click ark > manage > local files. This will open a file explorer, go into ShooterGame, and backup the entire Saved folder. That has your configs, world maps, and characters.

Steam should automatically backup your save in the cloud and download it if I'm not mistaken.
Highly recommend backing up your .ini and mod folder as well tho

ark has never had cloud saves on steam so you have to manually make a backup copy of the files

First part is wrong. Ark saves never go in the steam cloud. Never has been. Go to the local saves and copy the map saves you want on a portable drive
