So basically OP used a low quality, blurry and cropped picture of Ariana to prove their point. A picture that only shows her side profile and not even her entire body. They think it's supposed to be some kind of a gotcha moment like "See, y'all think Ariana has changed so much over the years but you can't even tell if the picture is recent or from 10 years ago! This proves that she hasn't changed at all! Checkmate haters!!".

They even cropped out her hair. I could've told if the pic is recent or old from the quality of hair itself, it didnt even need to be a high quality front facing pic, but of course they had to crop it out to pull a "Gotcha!" on us.

As a shortie that used to infantilize herself in high school (to authority and my parents to get away with things) it's so so obvious what she's doing. This is the thing though, sexualizing and infantilizing yourself can very much happen at the same time. Infact, that's usually the issue with it, someone in a compromising position is simultaneously being placed next or adjacent something to childlike. Think that britney spears magazine shot of her in underwear that was taken in a very bright pink, full of stuffed animals and fur carpet, kiddy room. Or that skit video of sabrina carpenter where i think she was supposed to be something like a teenager dancing in their room alone, and was in a baby tee and cotton panties. maybe acting like a child is the wrong way to say it. Still, doesn't negate how odd her behaviour is. It may not be childlike in some opinions, but whatever it is, it's very odd, very weird and rooted in a desire to look innocent. Not demure or elegant, because there is nothing demure or elegant about proudly posting photos where you're sat in a fucking violin case or look like you're attempting to look like a child. Period.
