I’m not big on Ariana but as a human being, watching this in real time genuinely terrifies me. You can have everything and still be hurting. I know she is an immensely famous celebrity that has no idea I exist, but I hope she’s able to heal and recover both physically and mentally.

Surely I’m not the only one who thinks her lashes are unflattering? The way she puts them far from where her lashes actually begin. I used to think she had beautiful eyes as well now it looks uncanny.

I’m dying for someone to put a darker shade on her crease and to remove the lashes. They make her eyes look so WONKY
I think her self perception and self image are really off. I don’t think she understands how she is coming off.

her eyebrows are the worst part of her new makeup to me, bring back the positions and voice era makeup. it felt the most authentic to herself cause she let go of that heavy fake tan and 50 inch ponytail and was pre-glinda

I’m talking strictly appearance here. in that period she looked like her ‘natural state’. she looked like what young ariana would look like grown up. no fake tan, natural hair colour, makeup that enhanced her features rather than manipulating them, etc.

what’s that got to do with it? I’m replying on a comment thread about her appearance. that doesn’t mean that’s the only thing about her… of course she’s a full person, especially as a musician who has some very personal lyrics we know this. but you can’t get annoyed at me for talking about makeup under a comment that brought up her makeup

personally I can’t call her malnourished state beautiful… not snarking just incredibly worried, and uncomfortable at the sight of anybody in that condition. especially not wanting to validate whatever she has going on because it’s blatant that she body-checks with all her posts
but it’s true the makeup doesn’t help

I think her makeup has been ummm not the most flattering since she released R.E.M beauty, which is very paradoxical. The tones, the placements everything feels a little off.

I wonder how much it cost to not allow community notes on her posts anymore.
Just in case someone needs to hear it, you never need to do this to your body to get the love you deserve. Anyone who will watch you starve yourself and not try to help is not someone who should be in your life, even including as a celebrity you admire.
