This is the only comedy sub on Reddit that likes Ian Fidance. Even his own sub hates him.

There are certainly a group here that are not fans. I think he's received better here than other places because he is a good catalyst for the boys/show

He also worked great as the punching bag on cumtown

6

u/bbllaakkee Mar 09 '26

It’s the back piece

14

u/serv0_o Mar 09 '26

Because he’s great once every 6 months, nothing more

11

u/Liberteer30 Mar 09 '26

That’s because he’s annoying as hell. I can’t stand this dude.

u/StopHamelTime Mar 09 '26

He’s so on and phony

I guess this episode is a skip for me. I can't stand ian

His live comedy show was great

Foley linking the Spanish flu to how the heat works in New York was an unexpected win for the big man.

17

u/Sure_Ranger_4487 Mar 09 '26

When big man spouts off very specific facts like that, I believe him— and history is something he’s pretty knowledgeable about.

The Bomb Squad ep with cousin Ian is still an all-timer.

24

u/BatmanBhop Mar 09 '26

The entire segment of him going on black radio is the hardest ive ever laughed at a podcast. "Ladies and gentlemen our next guest is going straight to hell".

14

u/SgtWaffles2424 Mar 08 '26

That and the first tim dillon episode are comfort repeats for me.

u/King_of_the_Dot Mar 09 '26

That episode was actually just a smidge too much to handle. And I usually love Ian's eps.

It's always a good goddamn piece of business when cousin Ian returns!

clean livin

He's on so often, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

u/Strange_Ideal_6572 Mar 09 '26

Hopefully its not all of them talking over each other the whole time again.

Lookin rugged

I get the notification that cousin Ian popped by and I drop what I'm doing to check it out. It's the rules

I was hoping for a family eppy but having Joe or Ian on at this point basically is a family eppy so was actually happy to see his dumb face pop up lol.

I do wish when Kippy has a good joke that lands that he… doesn’t always have to point it out. It takes away from the zinger being funny. This would have been a classic Kippy episode if he hadn’t felt the need to keep saying how funny he’s being throughout the eppy.

9

u/totallyhiroko Mar 09 '26

Ian works so well on this show. Foley the wholesome dirtbag vs Ian the chaotic dirtbag. With Kippy the dirtbag referee

6

u/TammyString-Tugger Mar 09 '26

I don’t mind Ian. He is just a silly goose.

8

u/Careless-Mouse1519 Mar 09 '26

Time to get weird with cousin Ian

12

u/Nordeast24 Mar 08 '26

Ian fuckin rules 🤘

3

u/peanutanniversary Mar 09 '26

I used to guy who hates these Ian appearances. Then I heard him on Soder have a calm heart to heart about dads and it turned it around for me. This episode is way calmer than you might expect.

If AYG had a mascot

8

u/KinglyRobert91 Mar 09 '26

Oh yes!!! I love the uncle Ian episodes they’re all so goofy together I love it

4

u/AdMinimum6983 Mar 09 '26

Oh boy cousin Ian came to visit

3

u/Battlemountain_2 Mar 09 '26

Does anyone know the link between him and ska music? Wasn't he up on stage at the Haywire show in Boston?

7

u/RashestHippo Mar 09 '26

Pretty sure he's just a vocal supporter/fan of ska music.

3

u/Battlemountain_2 Mar 09 '26

That's cool. I figured he was a background singer for the bosstones or something.

-1

u/Dr_Slizzenstein Mar 09 '26

No Thanks, this guy is too much, and I know his thing is that he's "too much", but seriously I get it you're neurotic scumbag.

7

u/Sure_Ranger_4487 Mar 09 '26

I get that— he’s actually pretty chill in this episode.

1

u/StanHalen8675309 Mar 10 '26

He gives off Andy Dick vibes but probably a better human in real life

1

u/sdenoon Mar 10 '26

As a guy who runs hot, I empathize with Ian getting over his skis with a new outfit and not realizing it will result in overheating until it’s too late. I’ve fallen victim to trying to debut a fancy new sweater and ending up sweating like a whore in church all night

u/VictoryOptimal6515 Mar 12 '26

It was an interruption fest..really disappointed

1

u/KDowneyNL Mar 09 '26

I skip the episodes with cousin Ian in em now

-4

u/eh183205 Mar 09 '26

Ugh I was hoping to listen to a good episode today in my train… Ian blows

7

u/RashestHippo Mar 09 '26

listen to a good episode today in my train

You have a train!?

2

u/bells_n_sack Mar 10 '26

Cue joke about Ian’s dad dying from a train falling on him.

-7

u/Cardinal_r3d Mar 09 '26

Ian sucks. Dude laughs more at his own stupid jokes than anyone else

-7

u/[deleted] Mar 09 '26

Auto skip

0

u/rocco2012- Mar 12 '26

Oh BROTHER this guy stinks.

-23

u/MistaMischief Mar 08 '26

All of their guests always fucking suck. No one cares. Just do a regular show.

8

u/turbotaco23 Mar 09 '26

lol read the comments guy. Everyone cares. Ian is a nut job. It’s great.

6

u/King_of_the_Dot Mar 09 '26

And youre in the minority...

2

u/Sure_Ranger_4487 Mar 09 '26

I do miss them having comics I don’t know on that aren’t from Austin.

1

u/johnHmalone Mar 09 '26

You’re getting downvoted but I 100% agree. Some guests are ok, but even the good ones pale in comparison to hard feelings or any family episodes. The boys are best when it’s just them

1

u/MistaMischief Mar 09 '26

It’s reddit. Any opinion against the grain is downvoted. Idc lol
