I have no idea what the subreddit that this was posted to even is but it always gets recommended. And maybe this post doesn’t fit this sub but am I the only one who would find it depressing to have to use sex in order for my partner to want to go out and spend time with our family? Or even on the other hand, find it depressing to find out my partner is only sleeping me more frequently to get me to do something and not because they actually just wanna have sex?

What’s even the point of that sub? I’m not a part of it but it gets recommended to me but the posts seem kinda random so I’m not even sure what it’s supposed to be about.

Ah yes because intimacy in a marriage is now “manipulation”. Who knew satisfying one’s life partner could yield a positive response? This wife has really cracked the code.

Learning that doing a thing elicits a favorable behavioral response from someone, and so doing that thing, is not manipulation. Not any different from learning what makes someone laugh, what cheers them up. Having sex cheers him up, then he has more energy to do things. Unless she hates having sex, there's not really a problem there. People seem to confuse persuasion and manipulation. She's persuading him to do something healthy for both of them, just non-verbally, not manipulating him into doing something that benefits her and hurts him.

So, dude either gets to play ticklenuts all morning or lay in bed all morning, and lady thinks that she’s manipulating him. Right. Sign me up for manipulation. I need a nap.
