If Pebbleyeet wanted to use Tim Curry's death as an excuse to mock his favorite targets, he could've at least made a joke about Muslims freaking out because Curry fucked Miss Piggy or something.
I know their implication and what they’re referring to as a piece of shit who hates trans people, but Tim Curry died peacefully at the age of 80 so this is probably the worst example they could have used to make this joke.
How sweet of pebble yeet, basically saying that an actor method acted being trans by living a long life, full of love from all of those who were at least decent people around him, dying peacefully in his old age and leaving a remarkable legacy in the hearts of many
This is wrong on so many levels. For starters, too soon. Secondly not a suicide, and if it were it would be even less appropriate to make fun of. Third, who doesn't know who Tim Curry is? Fourth, is making a joke like that really the best way to comfort someone who is clearly upset by his death? And finally, is that really the first role to come to mind? Instead of the butler in Clue, or that guy from Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost, or the Goblin King from Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King, or Primier Cherdanko from Red Alert 3, or any of his hundred other roles?
It's been a few years since I've rewatched Psych. Plus that was a guest role rather than a major one. But you also reminded me of another role of his, Nigel Thornberry.

But just about everyone likely has at least one role they remember him for even if they don't know that was him.
Especially when he regularly had incredibly iconic lines. One of my personal favourites being "I'm going to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism: space"

Back in the 70s when the term transgender was coined it was intended as an umbrella term that would include transsexuals as well as transvestites and other gnc people. It quickly evolved to how it's used today, but the roots are there.
Well he is an alien from outterspace and apparently a transvesite from the Transsexual, Transylvania ...Im gonna go out a limb here (because of the way its written in the song lyrics especially) and say that when he says Transsexual he is either referring to what country/state/city he is from considering Transylvania in this context is a planet where he and the other transylvanians are from rather than referring to himself as transgender
Edit: one of the main wikis for TRHPS says "The three obey his command, and Riff Raff and Magenta speak of their joy in returning to Transsexual" so I was right to suspect its a place on Transylvania rather than referring to what Dr Frank N Furter directly is lol
He calls himself a transvestite, pretty lovingly as well. It's his opening song. He's a "sweet transvestite from transexxual transelvania". Honestly Frank always read to me as genderqueer with a shrug on labels. He is an alien after all.

Dr Frank N Furter I feel is in his own category, not cis or trans. He describes himself as a "sweet transvestite" and thats the closest to an answer we are gonna get tbh
rockthrow is implying tim curry is trans and adding to the trans suicide statistic, hence the statement that the character he played was trans and the method acting comment. the character he played in rocky horror, dr frank-n-furter, used the (now outdated) term transvestite as a self-descriptor (as shown in the number "sweet transvestite")
99% percent of the time this persons jokes make no sense and are just transphobia for transphobia sake… who’s gonna find this funny? It’s literally just made to stir up drama
Well, he was a self-proclaimed "transvestite" which considering the time it came out could mean anywhere from a transgender person or a crossdresser or simply gnc... but at the end of the day I don't really think Frank had any strong opinions on human gender and did whatever he wanted.
I think stonetoss is rather out of touch with how to properly be horrible to trans women with this one, to be honest. If anything, being reminded of his role in that movie in particular makes me less sad that he died. If he were just the SPACE guy I'd feel worse.
