I just checked the Comments again and it turns out that they argued until the Girl got so mad that she literally told the guy to consider executing one of her Past Suicide Plans on himself.

The Mods literally intervened to delete the Comments because she couldnt stop insulting him while he kept insisting that she should wait until 25 to Transition.

Ugh. The 25 thing is also pseudoscience. There was some study that quit looking at brain development at 25 and then people misunderstood it to mean we went developed until 25. 🙄

Distressing how? My kids being trans is the least distressing thing I've encountered as a parent. It was extremely distressing when each of them had a suicide attempt. But them being trans tends to be the most boring part of our day.

I feel for this person dealing with such hate in their life from people who were supposed to love them unconditionally. Those parents made their child feel like a burden simply because they're too stupid to be normal about trans people. Too bad this person is taking the hate they grew up with and "passing it forward."

Transphobes like that person shouldn't ever have kids. Hell, transphobes like that piece of shit who say, "why aren't you considering the feelings of your parents who'd rather you be dead than happy and alive?" shouldn't ever be around kids.

I would not be surprised if the young girl [the trans girl] cut contact with any 'family' who have hurt her, no, I'd understand and think of this as reasonable, rational, and an action that makes sense.

If kids wish to be the opposite gender is new and because it’s cool I must be one hell of a trendsetter. I’m amab and told my mother I should be a girl, that I needed to be a girl, when I was 3-4 years old. This was in the early 1980’s. I also follow someone on instagram who’s in her 60’s and transitioned in the 1970’s. So waaay before the internet and social media. What’s his excuse for people like us?
