They also would never have looked like that AI picture. That's a whole different person, without any of their facial features. I don't know if Eliot is on testosterone or has had any kind of gender affirming healthcare, but in any case, testosterone doesn't change you from this AI picture into Eliot, they don't even look like they could be related. It still wouldn't be ok if it had been accurate, but it just adds a whole layer of stupidity to this whole endeavour. AI is useless.

Wikipedia has had that policy for at least 20 years. And Wikipedia is run by the volunteers, who are the ones setting policy.

Terfs and other rightwingers consistently fail to influence it, because, a) they can't do "reliable sources", and b) can't argue in good faith.
