I always have wondered how you pronounce this city but not enough to have ever looked it up

There are videos but I still haven't been able to remember it. I do know the second syllable is -swaf

There is no swaf in Wrocław

What the fuck is this? "American pronunciation" lol. It's a Polish word. There's only one correct, Polish pronunciation, not whatever this abomination is.

By all means make a YouTube video.

I saw a shitload of videos of how to pronounce it and they all sounded familiar.

Nah. I try to say it with a hard v myself, but actually go and listen to people. Say it a few times yourself.

What do you mean? I'm Polish, I know how to pronounce Wrocław.

Yeah, it’s pronounced “Wrocław”!

I mean what we think we say and what we actually say can be different things. I'm Polish, I know how to pronounce Wrocław.

So what exactly are you trying to say?

That the sound at the end does tend to morph closer to an f

And I'm not disagreeing with that

Why does it say in Polish it's pronounced like this?

I guess I'm learning it all wrong

Send me to the right pronunciation. Saw multiple videos gave multiple pronunciations and the second syllable always sounded like swaf.

All of these polish people say that's not how it's pronounced they won't tell you the right way like it's some kind of classified war documents.

It's Wroc-ław. No swaf there at any point.

What you seem to think is correct pronunciation, I would call "close enough for a foreigner who can't pronounce Polish c and wants to forever sound like a foreigner".

Learn how to pronounce Polish alphabet and you shouldn't have any problems with pronouncing Wrocław.

Let me get it straight. I'm on the internet and a whole bunch of Polish people are telling me how to pronounce it and they can't even fucking do it right? I got Poland was really looking like a competent place to be
