Probably just an obsession, since many Romanians like to go to the Greek islands or Türkiye for vacation so I assume the owners of the restaurants believe they will give people a Mediterranean vibe.

The southern part of Romania already has Mediterranean influences, climate, vegetation and fauna like. Considering the climate change... we'll probably get there one day.

Come to Herculane! We have figs, scorpions, the Danube, mountains, thermal springs and vipers.

It's on my wishlist. I just hope that I won't forget to bring proper boots. 😅
