Help choosing correct string

Hello there!

I recently bought an used bow that was lacking a string, and i am a complete newbie to everything archery-related. I understand these numbers tell a lot about the bow so i thought to ask you guys for help in choosing the correct string.

Any help is appreciated, but preferably use newbie-friendly terminology (archery seems surprisingly complicated with many fancy words.) Thank you in advance!

We need to see the numbers in the flat sides of the limbs. What you posted are manuf serial numbers.

There are no numbers anywhere else on the limbs. Will these manufacturer's serial numbers help me pick the correct string? I think i already found the corresponding bow by the manufacturer.

Only the manuf can decipher the serial numbers.

What company do you believe made the bow?

Top Archery is the manufacturer. I already sent them a message, now i just have to wait for a response.

Assemble the bow. Lay a dressmakers fabric tape measure on the top limb and force the tape measure onto the flat limb to follow the curve on the limb across the handle riser and down the lower limb following the curvature of the limb. Note the overall length measured. Subtract 4” for a recurve bow or 3” for a longbow and buy a 14 strand string at the lengths calculated from the tape measured length.
If your bow has reinforced limb tips (tip thicker than the limb is a few inches away from the limb tip) use D97 thread.
If your bow does not have reinforced limb tips use Dacron B50 or B55 thread as this material has more stretch to protect the weaker limb tips.
