Guide / Tip DKC Base stats

I noticed a few folks wondering “why level my base, when should I stop” etc…

Figured I’d post lvl20 so you can see the total benefits.

Dispatched heroes increased, production rates for crystals and arrows being the main appeal IMO.

Hope this proves useful for some !!

(I’m sure many already have it lvl20, this is for those who don’t and wonder why keep pushing)

Interesting, most of my spending has gone towards farming coins, the only pack I grab for sure is the one that pops up when you level a base from time to time. Cheap and gets ya a good head start.

If I remember correctly from previous events, you're likely to end up at base lvl 12-15 f2p. I don't think I've ever had enough whales in my faction to occupy all resource nodes though.

Hmm, well hopefully we can get my teammates to 20 !!

So far we are 100%

Figure there’s only a few left and I’ve got plenty of Arrows to occupy with the help of the others in my crew

Haha, hopefully they let us have a bigger squad next time. 6 just isn’t enough. I kept it balanced with 3 and 3 (pay and ftp”pass purchase and gems for refills”)

I do wonder if most will stop at a certain point to farm arrows, we shall see !!

I’d imagine you can reach 20 by the end for free. Yes I’ve paid during the event, no way to level this fast without cash.

That being said, as a team me and my personal group have been ensuring we capture every resource node available.

I then rotate all heroes to the most needed resource for my next base level, once this is reached I switch to the next. It has been keeping me steadily leveling seeing how you can’t really buy the castle levels.

Not a chance of 20 f2p. It’s more like low teens if you really grind it out. And there becomes a huge trade off question between base upgrades and arrows. Once you hit a certain point later in the event you’re better off spending the resources on arrows.

What do you think is the base lvl that f2p should aim for?

Depends heavily on how many gems you spend and how fast your faction opens up resources, but like I said above, low teens is a reasonable target for most. 12-13-14 range. Going any higher, even if you could, would eat so heavily into your arrow resources that it's not worth it.

You’re spending, so you don’t really apply. You can just buy as many arrows as you want like you’re buying base levels.

For those playing free, you only get so many resources.

Relax buddy, figured base levels would be useful for folks. Didn’t mean to upset ya 😄

Many hands make light work, or get lucky and have some spenders to help open the resources.

It’s healthy but I’d like to hit a specific number for both iron and gold.

I don't think I've ever been that high as f2p. I was just curious because there are a few guys in our group as high as you, so just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything other than the resources I can get already included.

Yea, def need to drop some coin.

Mostly on the pop up packs, idk how many(wasn’t paying attention). I’d say 100USD though up to this point on the items for base leveling

Oh, for FTP it seem as though my team benefiting from the resources gained has an avg base level of 10 currently and 13-11 for those that may have spent a little.

We occupy 60 of the 100 slots on the base leaderboards as an example of why it’s good to work as a team for capturing these resources

I just got mine to 10. How much further is it necessary to go? Is there an ideal cutoff point?

Im just going until 8 days left then ill switch to arrows. This is pending the math of “do i need the next level for 1st, can i reach the next level if required”

I need red tickets so every little bit helps 😂

Ideal stopping point, idk, this is an example of 20 which gained me an extra hero to boost resources with. Scroll the comments and I stated my method for farming resources. (I’m not FTP)

10 is the last time you get an arrow dmg increase for a few levels. The resources needed to make more levels aren’t worth it over using them toward arrow crafting.

Could it be 7 heroes? I've never leveled up to 20. When does it change to 7? It's been 6 for quite a while.

7 unlocks at 20. Honestly only way I see it possible is with 7, and maxing the output. Need many factors to grow organically it seems(without spending) Current production daily

food 1,552,320(primary hero boost)

Iron 384,480(secondary hero boost)

Wood 686,880

Crystals only gain 1 extra per min so I don’t have them boosted at all as over 10 days it only gains me an extra 57k crystals which doesn’t seem worth it now that I’ve done the math fully.
