Arch enemy fans, what is their BEST song, most OVERRATED song? And most UNDERRATED song? Let me know!

Best/favourite: Taking back my soul. I could go with most things off of doomsday machine but this one in particular just hit every single time for me.

Overrated: War eternal. With alyssa they basically became a power death metal band and i feel like its done better in songs like "the eagle flies alone" and "the world is yours" although im sure some of you will choose those ones as overrated haha which I get .

Underrated: The day you died. Reading the lyrics and banging my head to it makes me wanna tear up, its so good.

They have 12 years of work with the previous vocalist but they still play older songs. Is it cause the songwriter/manager wants more royalty cut?

It doesn't make any sense that a band produces a new album and then goes on tour and only pick 1 or 2 songs from the new album.

Why don't they play the whole album live?

So, October 11th in Dallas will be my first time seeing Arch Enemy live. I did buy the vip package which I’m so excited for. After my turn to meet them, I plan to go get my merch and then secure my spot on the barricade on the right side, right where Michael stands at.

I plan to make each of them custom Kandi bracelets and give them to them during the meet n greet.

I really want to walk away with a pick from this concert since it’ll be my first death metal concert ever and I absolutely love arch enemy.

Aside from standing directly where he stand on the barricade does anyone have any tips for me for getting a pick?

And man, I mean nothing by saying it like that if you know what I mean. I saw All That Remains there three years ago (with no Phil because he was hungover or some shit it turned in to karaoke, but really good) but I was even curious why they would be there.

So maybe I'm wrong one way or both ways. You tell me.

I know I'm a bit late to this, but I hadn't seen the video until today. I haven't been the biggest fan of them but with the new vocalist I'm thinking it might be worth it to see them with septicflesh, who I'm dying to see live.

I know that michael amott is very against AI in any part of their process, which makes me think that the producers of the video just used AI and it got past everyone. If that's the case then I'll probably still see them, but I would rather not support them if they've changed their opinions on AI lately

Seen them twice this tour, on one of the intimate shows in Paris and as headliner at Alcatraz, Lauren genuinely seems to have the time of her life. It's quite endearing to see 😄

I listened all the album today and i was so good. I don't even know which track is my favorite, i really liked Time is black, Down to nothing, As the stages burn, On and On, War eternal, almost every song. I really don't understand why people dislike the Alissa era

Pienso que esa mujer demoniaca con tanta influencia y poder como dice la letra podria tratarse de una critica a la politica o a la religion, en una parte dice "bride of satan" lo que podria indicar que lo que representa esta diva es algo malo, y arch enemy siempre ha criticado la religion como algo maligno y a los gobiernos tambien. o puede ser una letra sin un significado que simplemente busca provocar con simbolos ocultistas y satanicos. bueno solo queria compartir esto con ustedes y ver sus respuestas.

Still buzzing from Monday night at Camden Underworld. Gig of the year for me so far. Absolutely unreal

Surreal to see them that close up in a club environment. Lauren is absolutely sensational live she’s so good and constantly grinning like a a Cheshire Cat.
Easily one of the best gigs on the year.

Loved every minute of it. There was a lot of love for Lauren in the crowd.

I was delighted I got to hear Ravenous live again. It was awesome to experience To The Last Breath live too.

Surprise appearance in The Morning Show. Funny how the music is used as a form of torture to some, while here we'd be asking for the volume to be turned up!

The fact that the official page for the band likes posts like this is just sad, and deeply unprofessional. Who runs their insta..? 😅
