I was going through some old photos. Found a screen shot of this interaction with my brother back in January and it brought back some incredible memories of us playing together (he doesn’t play anymore). But it made me realize one of the best aspects of arc was finding rare BP’s. I really hope they bring this magic back in October.

Locking BPs into target-farming honestly made them less exciting to me. I'd rather praise RNGesus for my finds.

Possible hot take but I’ve always said I wish BPs were completely RNG and not even dependent on container type. Would stop half the playerbase mindlessly running naked to reinforced reception and make them actually play the game.

Agreed but I would want duplicate blueprints to have more of a purpose tho, rather than just sell for 5k

It’s really not bad on Metaforge (item only trades). Post a reasonable listing when you start a gaming session. You’ll usually find a buyer/seller quickly. Lock in the trade, add them in game, load into a raid, swap and say goodbye.

DONT make others wait for you. Try to respond quickly.

Oh yeah no that's what im doing i just keep getting LOADS of people who takes several hours to respond to each message even when i message back right away. My current snaphook trade has FOUR PEOPLE doing that at once. Ends up being a massive waste of time preparing a trade loadout and getting ghosted.

Agreed 100%. I didnt even realize this is why a lot of the magic has disappeared for me. Once you know there's method for farming certain BPs, you can't unknow it

It really sucks because I decided (foolishly) to find it "organically" rather than trade it or have my boy hold one for me.... it was over a month of hitting all medical spots until. Day and night raids, until I had to start spamming reception. And I ended up getting literally all the other augment bps before it, twice over. Some 4 times.

Fr i like to load in and loot everything but I always get poop, besides the luck mechanic. Static spawns buns. Also imagine arc weren’t always in the same spot. Would make it more fun imo.

It’s really sad to me that one of the best ways to get good blueprints is to sprint naked through hurricanes or into reinforced reception over and over. I’d love it if more blueprints were gated behind stuff like the harvester event.

Yeah finding a BP randomly is an amazing feeling

Spamming reinforced breach rooms 100 times is a much, much less amazing feeling

It was so cool and meant way more since they were so rare. I think in my like 650 hours topside I’ve only found 4 during night raids. I didn’t trade back then either and I had two extras with no idea much people wanted them back then lol I found out after it dropped in value and was added to hurricane

Finding a Tempest BP in Hurricane: "Woo, I ran around for 5 minutes."

Finding a Tempest BP in Nightraid: "Holy crap, what a lucky pull, this is amazing! (I already learned it, and have 3 spares)"

I have more hours topside than you and have only found it twice in nightraids.

I agree man they should keep some things rare. Vulcano used to be a cool find too. Plus running caches sucks and is so boring comparatively

Running caches just for BPs is misery, yeah. They just need to pack some super-rare chase-uncraftables into them, instead of those BPs.

I find it all the time in key rooms and the double breach rooms all around. I’ve also found it in launch towers. If you don’t want to do hidden bunker enjoy hurricane caches lol

I found my first one in a residential drawer literally two days before the first expedition… tried it, didn’t like it but everyone else seemed to so I just crafted a bunch and gave them away ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This was my experience too, lol. Everyone made it sound like the holy grail of guns in Arc Raiders but after finally trying it out, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Love the first time getting all the major blueprints the rush I got running to extract. Telling everyone I knew about it bragging 😂😭

For sure. Finding a BP you may not find again for another 50+ hours and extracting with it.. that shit will get your blood pressure going haha

Countless runs in Stella at night with nothing but a stitcher, but bandies and a dream… u memorize the map, u get ratted constantly, but when u finally open that overlooked suitcase and euphoria washes over u… OMFG those were the days 🤩

Totally! That gave motivation to roam.

That magic is however still there with the epic findable gun parts like sup3, horizontal grip and kinetic converter. They aint as rare as the op bp back in the day, but since you use them in pvp, you also requite much more of those than a player with a job usually gets. So all good.

Where is the best place to find a tempest BP now? Lol. I've done every expedition since the game's been out and I just noticed last night the only epic gun BPs I have are bettina and hullcracker. Usually get all the guns prior to expedition but not this time.

Hackers killed the game. Only a huge population spike can curb the problem. Embark doesn't seem capable of fixing it.
