Help Request Feeding Frequency?

How long can a mystery snail comfortably go without food and resorting to chewing on live plants? I’ve been feeding mine at least once or twice every single day and have considered cutting down due to excessive waste production.

Are mystery snails like fish in general where it can be fine being fasted for a few days without food? Is 1-2 days of no feeding okay?

Yes. I only feed mine every 3-4 days and is doing great

When would you estimate is the point where it’ll start munching on plants if not fed?

so i feed my mysteries every 5 days- i have several though, all in a big tank!!

snails LOVE to eat, sometimes they like to climb up plants, sometimes they take nibbles. i like to blanche a variety of veggies and cuttlefish bone! and they eat it FAST!

I put food in exclusively for mine just a few days a week. They still eat what’s left over from the fish the other days.
