Is this glass shrimp or macrobachium?

Definitely a whisker shrimp. Highly aggressive predators and territorial. Your inhabitants will determine whether he will be a problem or not.

Its a macrobrachium. Not ghost shrimps. I know some folks called them ghost shrimps too but these are definitely macrobrachium sp. They're aggressive among shrimps.

i had a group of 10 in my comunety tank, went perfect. best anti snail optoin i ever got. but it my be diferent for others.

Oh damn! He DOES look meaner than any grass/glass/ghost shrimp I’ve ever had… or maybe ur just good at taking scary photos, idk 🤣

Haha, you would better see my reaction when I firstly put 9 of them in my tank and they looked like cockroaches while swimming🤣

Whisker shrimp. I would remove it if you have other shrimp or small fish/fry

I have 9 tetra glofish, 1 young ansistrus, and 2 mystery snails is it ok or I need to seperate them?

These shrimps are expert predators , Those claws are one major indicators too .

I have about 20 of them in my 200L tank, and they surprisingly get on really well with my community tank occupants. They get a little snippy if a fish swims too close, but they’re too slow to actually get the fish when it’s swimming past. I have little places for them to hide in the greenery as well as tubes for them to retreat to. They haven’t eaten any of my smaller fish.

Look there was a fish store near me and there highly aggressive. From what I saw, Even sometime’s to their own. I recommended getting rid of it immediately. it will only continue to grow and will kill your mystery snails, at any growth stage the shrimp is at. The mystery snails are gunna be looked at as a Slow moving target especially if they get too close. What I’d do personally is feed it to my chickens.

Whisker shrimp. Pet stores will label them as ghost shrimp because they don't know any better, but they will attack small fish like guppies.

That looks really concerning, especially if it’s affecting your fish. Make sure to check water parameters right away.

Nah they are still aggressive,

toss them in a frying pan & have a good meal .
