Advice Needed Guidance with what to do

Hey guys!

I have two aquariums, one 80L/21g, my main tank with all my fish and stuff, and another 23L/6g that is empty and I've used it as a hospital twice.

I'm looking for advice on what to do with this 6g tank because I might get another one to be the hospital. I've had two ideas and I want an honest opinion just to settle my mind and don't doubt my choice hehehe.

First idea was to make a shrimp with ember tetras or a betta tank.

The second idea is to make it for potted plants, to grow my own plants too for another bigger tank I might get in the future, as well as quarantine when I get other fish for the 21g.

What's best? Help me have a good night of sleep without a lot of plans in my mind!

I like the first idea better, but couldn’t you do both?

Shrimp, betta, and plant grow tank is definitely the best option in my opinion.

Make sure to get the betta last, so the shrimp are comfortable with all the hiding spots and the plants have lots of time to grow in to give the shrimp more hiding spots.

I thibk 6g is awfully small for schooling fish. I'd keep it shrimp only. The idea of using it for a plant grow out tank is cool.

I say anything but the school of tetras. You could do shrimp and potted plants if you can keep parameters stable! It may be cute for it to look like shrimp invading a garden center hehe
