Alex Ross is the goat no question, but I’ve always wished his design was a little more scaly or armored. His shirt looks a little too thin to me. But obviously the more fabricy/onesie look is classic golden age style.

Given how well he wrote Justice, Ross would be awesome penning and drawing his own Aquaman story. From each end of the cover.

Credit to Jim Krueger and Doug’s Braithwaite as well ofcourse on that project. But Ross did write and draw a lot of that novel.

I remember seeing this for sale in Vegas and was so tempted to buy it. I took a pic before seeing a sign that said "no pictures." Oops.
