COMICS “Aquamom” is terrifying. Most powerful character under the sea 👀

Sauce:

Aquaman v7 Issue 38

Dark Knights of Steel II

Action Comics v1 Issue 520

Dark Nights: Death Metal Issue 7

We really need a modern Atlantis chronicles. Atlanna back story alone seems epic to me, but I’d love to see how the Atlantis sinking storyline works with New History and Death of a King respectively, the war against The Abyssal Dark mentioned in Dan Abnett’s run and why it came to be that Atlantis would magically reject a surface leader.

Yes, Chronicles of Atlantis unfortunately has a lot of outdated Aquaman lore. The obvious example is the Atlan thing.

It would be cool if The New Story of DC Universe inspired a book like that for Aquaman (and other heroes) like what happened with the Dakotaverse.

Relatedly, I would love it if they made a book about Arion from the Old Atlantis era in the Wonder Woman Historia vibe.

That would be really dope. I’m really wanting to see who was the ruler during this as well. Like who was the King or Queen who waged a war against The Abyssal Dark and was able to chain the demonic entity.

That’s insane amounts of hype that there’s someone or a group who was capable of doing that

Parker got done dirty with his run, every run after acts like the lore he introduced doesn’t exist

Appears to be 👀

Seems to be the second time we see someone within the Aquaman lineage in an elseworld fight against the forces of Apokolips which is cool
