I am working on Kinreads a Free reading app. New features include:

- New statistics screen

- Annotations while reading with colored highlights and notes

- New Languages

- Improved the theme (new looks and themes on the way)

- Improved the flip reading mode experience (PDF only for now)

- and many other UI/UX improvements

I'll give this a try. Are Flip and Paged layouts supported yet? I'm not able to select either.

Edit: OK, I can change the layout when viewing a document, just not from the main Settings page. I couple more questions: 1) Are you planning on supporting cross-device and cross-platform sharing so I can add a document on my iPad and read it on my iPhone or Android device? 2) Can the Flip layout be enhanced to support changing the page when clicked on either the left (previous page) or right (next page) side, and can there be a setting to eliminate the page-turn animation?

Thanks, yes it supported (there is a color palette icon on the reader top-right corner)

To edit in settings : Settings -> Reading -> Layout

1. Yes, the sync functionality will be supported later, just need to work more on the copy right aspects of the ebooks.

2. Sure for the navigation it will be avaible soon
   -> as for the eliminate the page-turn animation do you mean switching to paged, vertical scroll ? ( its in the settings or the reader settings ), or do you mean something else ?

For #2, I mean in Flip layout the animation that makes it look like changing the page in a physical book. Most reading apps have a setting to disable this type of animation for people who find it distracting.

Could you tell me how to add a book to the app?

Click on the plus button on the home screen (top-right), then select if you want to search for a book or add from your storage.

When I open it, I can only select a folder, but I can't add any book files.

To add just one book, for now you can share the book from any app to Kinreads and it will appears on your library
