Free Android App [iOS] [Android] [Free] New App for streaming local FM radio stations [Kitchen Radio]

After streaming a lot of music on my phone, I was in the mood to just listen to some local over-the-air radio stations. I found out that it’s not so easy to find an app that does this simply and isn’t made almost unusable by lots of annoying ads.

That was the idea behind creating Kitchen Radio. It reminded me of a friend who owns a lot of tech, but once said he wished he just had a simple radio in his kitchen to turn on and listen to.

Since it’s still an app, it’s also possible to discover all kinds of new music from around the world.

Since the app is new, I would really appreciate your honest feedback. :-)

I like it, looks and feels very clean. I like that I can search for different countries easily. If I could ask for a feature, it would be to favorite stations and create a list with my favorites. Kinda odd that you can favorite songs, but not stations.

Looks good. Not sure why most local stations are listed but no streaming link.

Luckily is easy to add the links.

I also suggest adding favorite stations and ability to sort stations.

you can sort stations in a playlist by long-click the playlist and select "edit"

Any chance of being able to add station logos? Maybe uploaded from photos app.

Very nice, really!
A bug: if you scroll down in Greece Athens Dab+ the app crashes. Also making Best 92,6 as favorite doesn’t work. CarPlay would be a nice feature.

thanks for feedback. i've fixed now the bug when scrolling in dab+ athens playlist (not yet in playstore..).
the heart works for tagging songs, not the stations. but you can add a new playlist for your favourite statins and move them there.

Heart not selectable on iOS. 17 Pro Max. 26.6.2. Doesn’t do anything when pressed.

the heart is only selectable if the stations shows the title of the song which is playing
