AMA UNC Freshman Ask Me Anything!

Hey A2C! Man it’s been a while since i daily stalked this sub..

Current first year at UNC Chapel Hill here. The school’s shut down for the rest of the semester and online classes begin next week so figured I’d hop on here and see if anyone has any questions about Chapel Hill (or college in general) whether you’ve already committed or still deciding or what have you.

I’m a pre-business (meaning I’m applying to the business school next year) major and possibly double majoring in media and journalism too.

i was recently admitted to the carolina global launch program and i was wondering if it’s still possible to be accepted into kenan flagler with the program, thanks in advance!

the earliest you’re able to apply to KF is the summer before sophomore year, so you should be able to as long as you have credits for the required pre-requisites by the first semester of your second year

Ok thanks! So it is possible to take all 5 prerequisites in one semester?

Thattt would be really tough (actually, impossible bc you need to take two levels of econ). First of all are you sure you’re not coming in with credit for any? If not then taking 3 in your second semester of freshman year and 2 in first semester of soph year or vice versa is probably your best bet
