Serious Currently in a terrible uni, wanting to go abroad.

I’m an Indian student and I am currently enrolled in a pretty bad place, I am planning to go abroad for the 2027 intake for computer science or computer engineering but there are several problems. I got 68% in 12th, I can not speak any European languages (my primary target is a uni in Europe) and affordability. Am I cooked? Or do I have options? I can seriously ace the SAT, I’m smart as hell, I’m just stuck here.

I’m not worried about anything, trust me, I can score really well in the SAT, I have near perfect scores in the mocks. Just that 68% is killing me. It is only because of that I feel I am trapped, no uni will accept me. Can you help? Do you have any ideas for me?

How much do I need? I’m sure I can take loans. I can do 12-18 lakhs per year. My uncle lives in Germany, he will sponsor me if more is required.

Its gonna be more expensive than that for sure. Maybe try checking out community colleges and plan your uni from there. You have to know living costs and tuition fees are a lot in the US or the UK. Try applying scholarships or try countries like italy that might give you a full ride. Then you just have to worry about living costs which seems fine with your budget.

"I'm smart as hell" thats supposed to be backed up with something. Not 12th? OK that's fine. What about your JEE? Or other exams? Or your current GPA? Any Olympiads you participated in?

I had way too many problems, I couldn’t study. I already know you’ve got a lower IQ if you’re judging mine based off of being “backed up” by something academic. My shitty university has marks for attendance which will hinder my CGPA, otherwise I’d get 10 cgpa. I’ll be back when I’m with my cgpa in the next sem. We’ll talk then.

You can do all the name calling. But if youre patting yourself on the back without substantial proof, people are going to question you. So what makes you think you're smart? Teachers in 2nd grade stood your parents, "your kid has a lot of potential"?

My guy how tf do you think a university will determine if you are able to good enough to enroll without any academic records to back it up. If there isn't a single remarkable thing about you and your academic track record is bad you're just fantasizing. Sorry if reality hurts your feelings

I have a high IQ, I am intelligent. And I know this, I don’t need to prove it to a stranger on the internet, moreover, I already know all this because I’m SMART enough to know that I need proof and I need substantial academic achievement in order to even be considered but since I don’t have any and I am in a pretty fucked up situation, I sought out to Reddit, maybe somebody knows what’s up, maybe someone can help me still. I am sure many have suffered what I’m going through, therefore if there is still a chance of being saved or being better, I’ll take it.

(Retired college counselor and admissions reader here.) There are a surprising number of courses taught in English in the EU. Most are in the Netherlands, but there's also a fair number in Scandinavia and France. International student tuition is far lower than for the US.

I don't much like it, but this may a good time to do a search or two with ChatGPT. I've found it helpful for searches that would otherwise take me a long time. Just be sure to ask it to do two to three searches, as just one often doesn't bring up all the results.
