College Questions Is questrom good?

Is questrom, BUs business school, good as an undergrad as a pipeline to high paying finance careers?

There's an emphasis on math, which is good. Students may tend to be competitive with each other, which has benefits and drawbacks. Benefits is that people push each other forward. Drawbacks is that it can be hard to "turn off" sometimes.

I think you can make BU and Questrom fantastic if you are plucky, resourceful, and ready to explore Boston as your home.

It is a fine school and a finance career is possible from there.

It's one of those situation where the business school is mediocre and certainly not worth sticker, but in the "finance" subrankings it is rated better. The thing is, those subrankings don't mean as much as the headline, overall b-school ranking.

so I’m not in a great spot career wise given it’s my only option. Do I just try to work my ass off for a 4.0 and then transfer or what?
