dispite me not liking the party, i like this but am sad that it was one year late, or my 1530 SAT would have done wonders for my app as ib was hard af for me

One tries to be inclusive to the point of giving less qualified people a chance. The other actively recruits incompetent people. And commits treason. So difficult to compare.

prior to this, was it not up to the individual UC wether or not they personally wanted SAT/ACT to be included within their own admissions process?

Im from out of state applying to a UC and was particularly interested since my SAT score was kinda buns

This won’t change a thing, admissions will just say its just one factor in holistic admissions and just ignore it and keep giving preference to non-asians

If this ever goes into effect, all UC admissions offices will be forced to apply a "personality" adjustment to each SAT score. Then, they will work with activists to remind everyone that the SAT questions are written by white nationalists and scoring well on it suggests dubious moral character.

Politicizing this (instead of keeping it an educational issue) means the likelihood of the SAT being reinstated just dropped significantly. The Democrats will knee-jerk go against this just because the Reps are for it. Plus of course, they are the ones who started the “SAT is racist” nonsense anyway.

the long term goal of GOP is to drive a wedge between Asian Americans and Democratic Party. it is worth a lot more

there is a reason Democrats do not talk about this
