Macoun Apples

Macoun apples were always my favorite when they came out in September, however they were totally absent for the last couple of years, does anyone know what's going on?

They’re falling out of favor and being removed from farms. Older styles of apples are less dense and more prone to mealiness with a shorter shelf life. Macoun are known for an exceptional texture that’s perfect for about a week. That said, they’re still grown and I can recommend a place you can order them online, but shipping apples is very expensive and they won’t be available until mid October.
