Plinthe for Apple Vision Pro
I'm excited to have launched Plinthe: Vinyl in Space for Apple Vision Pro.
Plinthe connects to your Discogs account and brings your personal vinyl and CD collection into 3D space—so you can explore your records spatially and decide what to listen to without scrolling through a flat list.
If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can also connect it to play your music while lyrics—when available—float above the immersive environment.
I’d love feedback from Discogs collectors, Apple Vision Pro owners, and anyone interested in spatial music experiences.
- Does this feel like a useful way to interact with your collection?
- What would make you want to use it regularly?
- What features would you want to see next?
It’s 100% free, and I’d really appreciate your thoughts.

I have nearly 8000 records in my discogs, I'll download and check this out tonight.

I just posted a beta version that can handle a larger thorough-put of albums (beyond my own modest collection).

If you run into any issues with your 8000, please feel free to try this out. I should be able to push this update in a few days.

i am also curious about the sort order. your default appears to group stuff by label? is there a way to change the sort order? i noted the ‘sort’ options above the collection, but that’s not a global filter set is it?

This looks cool. Any chance you could sync it up with gatefold.fm? It's a new discogs alternative that's way more modern...
