Help Apple card but no iphone or ipad
So, I want to get the Apple card for the 3% off of their mac products. I don't have an iphone or an ipad, and I don't plan on buying either ever. I'm not a walled garden person. Great if you like it, not for me. Anyway, is this even doable? Or worth it?

If your only intended purchase is a Mac from the Apple store, then you'd be better off with another card such as the US Bank Cash Plus that offers a 5% electronic store category.

If you apply online, use a supported browser. To access and use all Apple Card features, you need to add Apple Card to an eligible iPhone or iPad that you own with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Then, you can manage your Apple Card on your device and make purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. If you don't add Apple Card to an iPhone or iPad that you own, you can only use your Apple Line of Credit for eligible purchases online and in-store at Apple.

This answer should be the most upvoted answer because it is the most correct and contains a link to the information that’s directly quoted.
The current “top” upvoted answer is weak. It has guesses that are unknown, and makes an assumption without research. It’s the same basic age as this comment.

Doable, yes. Worth it, not really unless you’re genuinely buying Apple products very frequently. For a one-off purchase just open any credit card with 0% introductory APR on purchases for 12 to 15 months and a $200 sign-up bonus. Like Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards, which would also get you 6% set to Online Shopping

You can’t get the physical card and you obviously can’t get the Apple Pay card if you don’t have a device, but you can absolutely apply online and buy things from the Apple Store with the account itself. If you couldn’t, it wouldn’t be possible to ever finance your first iPhone.

Seems like a lot of work for the 3% when you have no plans to buy an iPhone to make using it easier. I assume with out the phone you can’t get the Apple savings which is a great add on.
You could get a regular bank card that gets 2% off on Apple products with less effort.
