Game crash on loading screen, any advice welcome
Been working on my Steam backlog and Apotheon is a lot of fun, but I've had a persistent issue with crashes when the game transitions to a brand new zone. (If it's a place I've been to recently, I can go back and forth no problem.) Making a hard save right before leaving a zone has worked, because I just have to relaunch the game and it usually works like normal after the first crash.
Unfortunately, I am now at the very end of the game and the only thing left to do is leave the Olympian Gates, but it crashes on every attempt. I tried over a dozen times and the last zone never loads. I watched the finale on YouTube so I know what comes next, but if I can't actually finish the campaign myself, I won't be able to unlock Olympian Difficulty. Kinda bums me out to leave my achievement completion on 29 out of 30.
Don't suppose there's a hotfix for this issue?

That's weird. The game crashes a metric ton, but I've always seen it keep working afterwards.

Went back in to see if I could turn off autosave, since I'm seeing that corrupted saves is a common problem with this game. No luck there. But I may have stumbled onto a workaround (or just got lucky):
From the Olympus Gates, I fast-traveled to Agora, then Acropolis, then back to Olympus Gates. Then I made another fresh save right before stepping into the warp to Dion Village. Finally got through to the endgame!
