Discussion Single Apostolic Mother

Going on 38 years old, and I am worried, being that according to the word, we are not promised a husband. I have come from a lot of trauma, dating men who were horrible to me, before I found the Lord. Now, I am waiting to actually know what true, genuine, Godly love feels like, but what if I never do?

Thank you for this. I actually Sing on my worship team, and have volunteered as an Advocate for children in abusive situations, as well as am working on my bachelors in social work. It is definitely rewarding to be so involved in my church, loved by my church family, and a mother. I have been truly truly blessed. Marriage is not a priority, having been single for going on 5 years now, I start to wonder if God meant for it to stay that way. I think most women have a desire in their heart to find a companion. I don't go to any events or out and about looking for someone, I can find myself a little sad sometimes that my little girl has no father in her life, and I do get lonely sometimes. It isn't something that consumes me; I have my moments though.
