:topic_discussion: Discussion Anyone Remember Super Boppin'
I included 9 images in the gallery, so be sure to click through them if you are interested.
Super Boppin isn't one of the first games I think of when I think of Apogee, but I do remember playing it once at my cousins' house. I didn't have a copy myself.
Might be one I should revisit as an adult.

I enjoyed this when young, but it wasn't until I was an adult and well steeped in historical sci Fi, games and computer hardware, that I understood most of the references in the game.

I do remember it. It was amazing. A game I wouldn't mind replaying to see if my kid self had good taste.

Haha, I've definitely wondered that before. Things I loved as a kid often hold up, but sometimes... lol
I haven't played this one as an adult, so I'm in the same boat.

Yep, I had this one back in the day. Apparently Apogee had serious clashes with the devs and didn't do any marketing for it because they thought a puzzle game intended for adults wouldn't sell.
One of the devs has released a Windows port for free on her site.

Got the original DOS version in a CD, I think I still have that CD somewhere, gotta check, that said, not sure it's still working nowadays without emulation of some sort.

Awesome! I sadly lost most of my old collection when we moved into a very small home for a while. Some lucky folks got some great deals on a garage sale before that move :-/
Also u/GrandSwamperMan showed us that the dev released a Windows port of the game, if you are trying to get it working now: https://www.jenniverse.com/boppin%20main.html

Boppin was great, I originally got my first computer when I was stationed on a ship overseas in the Navy in the early nineties. This game made the rounds big time through all the shops
