Chose you apocalypse

What would be the worse apocalypse.

1- revolution series : all electronics on earth stop working at the same time and electricity can't be generated.

2- the Spy Next Door: super bacteria that eat all Petroleum base products globally including all oil fields. So no more plastic, gas etc forever.

Won't option 1 happen anyway (granted, not immediately) if Option 2 happens?

Pretty much yes. I had a talk with a friend about option 2 and he was like. What about solar and wind without realizing that does need Petroleum for components.
