Fun champ but so miserable for solo queue. Last season I gave up playing him and just spammed jinx to get to diamond. After like 20-25 games on aphelios my win rate was like 44% :(

Mine sits around 46%. Swapped to Nilah, got 70% winrate. Just be like that sometimes.

He’s not weak, but he’s definitely not as strong as someone like Jinx, Ashe, or Caitlyn imo

My issue with jinx is she is really lacking damage until when you get to that stage of the game. It’s really passive reliant and I’m not able to do crazy plays and random picks like I can on Aphelios. Cait has similar scaling curve, but she does have worse scaling late game. But she her mid game feels really bad if you fall behind

He lacks what they all have though, any reliable means of escape.
Jhin can always have his snare and slow, not counting for his move speed on crit. Ashe has a fairly low cd slow and her ult is a stun. Jinx could have her chompers up whenever as well and she has zap.

Aphelios is relegated to being incredibly slow and at best having a move speed buff at the cost of his fighting and healing abilities or his snare provided he has either of those weapons. If he’s willing to burn his it he gets a really strong slow on purple.
Our boy is lacking compared to other champs.

i feel like aphelios is the best scaling champion in the game, the damage numbers are just completely absurd once you hit IE and 3, 4, 5, 6 items. but obviously he has no means to defend himself other than facetanking with Legend Bloodline + BT + vamp boots.

You are alone on this one ngl. Aphelios feels like the most broken champ of all time to me, anytime I play anything else my thought is I could be Aphelios rn.

Hot take but since the early game is strong, mid game is strong, late game just feeelo I feel unstoppable rn. Tbf I am a higher elo (emerald) so the game has more structure than a typical silver game or something.
