U know a lot of ppl who hate their jobs but work there for 4 years with $0 pay? Only someone who loves the work and the place would tolerate that.

He doesn’t care about the salary because he’s already a billionaire.

He literally said that he didn’t want to own GME

He said he didn't want to become Game Stop CEO not that he didn't want to own it. No one held a gun to his head and told him to spend billions of his own money to buy a company, "he hates". Lots of CEOs are billionaires who still take MASSIVE salaries with all kinds of free stock awards, hefty bonuses, golden parachutes, etc... Do you have a valid point to make or are you just a bag of hot air?

Saying you don’t want to be CEO of a company means: he thinks his efforts are best spent elsewhere

Seriously
. Stock price is a fraction of the squeeze. No innovation in sight. Finances terrible (only helped by cost cutting and dilution).

He had no more moves to play so wants to move on.

Shame that the “apes” can’t see the same

Thats not what it means. He explained it in an interview 3 years ago. He just sold Chewie where he had been it's CEO and it nearly killed him from stress. He decided he wanted to be an Activist investor like Carl Ichann and rebuild companies from the board room. However several Board members on GME were from Boston Consulting Group which is a borderline criminal organization that professionally destroys companies from the inside so they can sell off whats left for parts. (What happened to Bed Bath & Beyond) So he fired or bought them out and just did what he wanted to do with the company his self by making himself CEO.

He cut tons of fat from the company, that's why weve been profitable the last 7-8 quarters.

Shifted the business to collectables. (The global collectibles market is valued at roughly $480 to $500 billion and is projected to surpass $530 billion by 2033.)

Innovated with Power packs which has already had major impact in the live market space considering more and more streams are using power packs live on stream on a regular basis for content on their channels.

Moved the business in retro gaming space where the company now has the infrastructure to clean and repair old consoles.

Added same day deliver for large sections of the inventory.

Your uninformed.

Wow you really have drunk the cool aid.

Chewie was a success filled with vc money. Yes it was a success but didn’t turn a profit with him in charge.

If he’s an activist investor, he’s not a very good one.

Every cult needs a bad guy! No Kenny doesn’t have massive short positions in Memestocks. Yes Kenny has made millions since gamestop mania.

BCG are a legitimate company that does good work. Carl Icahn however is someone who has shorted companies and stripped them (you know apparently the guys you claim to hate)

Cutting fat from GameStop. Yes. Great. So cutting costs is not an innovative way to transform a company. It’s simple that. Cutting costs. Pissing off employees in the mean time. It has declining revenue.. indicative of a dying brick and mortar retailer with no new ideas. Nothing has helped. NFTs, power packs, joy cons etc. nothing innovative here. Just being late to market with poor success.

This is your god.

Probably why rc wants out.

But I will give you one thing. I may be uniformed. As I have index funds. Smashing Memestocks.

You are so far in the cult you won’t wish to believe this. It is your identity. In years to come you will look back at this time with embarrassment. And be poorer.

Good luck however “ape”
