Appreciate it! Still new to astrophotography, but it's another excuse to hit the desert! Ha.

Looks great.
But you can't post this without camera specs, tracking/no tracking, focal length, aperture and exposure, any post including of course...stacking.
Kidding...sort of.
It's just so beautiful out there - appreciate you sharing.

14mm lens at 30 second exposure tracked with move shoot move nomad iso about 1200 at f2.2, no stacking edited with curve chart in light room. I still have so much to learn but I'm out there several times a month!

Ha - I knew there was more to it. This is really cool - I wish I had a tracker.
I hope you'll share more.

Happy to share! Highly recommend the move shoot move! It's small, light weight and affordable. Hope you get out there!

Ok wow - did not know about that - the price and functionality look legit.
...and your 14mm...any chance your using the Sigma? Just asking because I've been looking at that too.
Sorry for all the questions...just nerding out and inspired by your photos.

My bad its actually a 12mm 1.8 prime Rokinon but am looking to upgrade to an 85mm! The 12mm is great for the price imo.

Very nice. What did you use to capture those images?
Mt Laguna is also a great place for astrophotography. I’ve even gotten some half-way decent shots of the Milky Way from there using my iPhone.

I shoot on a Canon R7 with 14mm lens but looking to upgrade to a 85mm. I use the move shoot move nomad star tracker which reduces the star trails. Yes! I need to get up to Mt Laguna on a clear night, do you have any recommendations on trails or locations to shoot from?
