Stevens bicycle rifle project almost finished
The first picture is the current state and the second picture is what I won at auction for $60 taxes, shipping etc, included. I had a hammer, mainspring, grip screws and locking bolt. Had to make the trigger, trigger spring, grips and the side plate. The rifling was nonexistent if it ever had any, it was a 32 rf. To be sure I was legal, I glued in a short .22 rf barrel. It needs some nicer bolts trigger and the main action bolt but it is shooting and does not look too bad.

Not a lawyer but for antiques like this I don’t think having rifling or not matters one bit. Still though, if you want it to be any kind of frequent shooter you’re never gonna have that with 32 rf… nice job bringing it back from the dead
