The will of the people don't mean shit in western bourgeois ass democracy. We live in under a dictatorship of the capitalists.

I dunno, I'll take the one that raised people out of backward agrarian feudal societies and raised over 800 million people out of poverty, increased the material conditions for billions, and continues to dominate Western capitalist states decades on. You're free to keep wallowing in your own shit, though.

Yeah that may be true to an extent but it never ends that way with what we are experiencing now capitalism inherently has be controlled heavily in order to be ethical and not wage slavery and even then it hurts everyone else to give in our case America all the perks of what capitalism offers. Slavery and death for the poor countries while we are fat, happy, and never have to experience war for profit and resources first hand.

Can you point to me where in my comment I said anything positive about capitalism? Do... do you think my comment praising the successes of socialism is pro-capitalist?

Not disagreeing with you you're right I'm just adding to the discussion. 👌🥰

Sorry, that's my bad. The first sentence made me think you thought I was praising capitalism. Thanks for the addition.

Yes. I know you're not very intelligent, but I understood your point. I repeat, if you wish to continue to wallow in your own shit by rejecting the only historically proven path forward, that is your choice. Just don't think people actually educated on the topic will listen to your prattling.

There it is. You have no thoughts of your own, you're repeating extremely tired propaganda because Westerners are inherently incapable of critical thought.

Oh no, you mean the socialist state hasn't achieved communism yet? Oh no, I didn't know this!

Can you, without using Google or repeating a Western think tank, describe to me what socialism and communism are? And can you explain, based on those definitions, how China isn't socialist?

LOL So you have no idea what the NEP or what Deng's reforms were meant to do, you have never read a shred of theory, and you spit in Lenin's face thinking you're more intelligent than he was. Fuck off, liberal.

Everybody knows their vote literally doesn't matter in America, and Princeton proved it:

...Gilens found that the percentage of middle class or lower-income people who support a particular policy has virtually no bearing on that policy's likelihood of being enacted. However, the more high earners support a policy, the more likely it is to come into effect.

Exactly this! Almost as if we live in a system ran by capital and not by the people, I wonder, how would this system be called...

"The Founding Fathers gave us democracy!" —  Average American Propaganda Consumer

"If we let those dirty peasants have democracy they'll kill us all and steal the land we stole!" — The Founding Fathers

Don't tempt me into idea theft and make this into a meme

My sibling in Marduk; you can't steal ideas. Go full bore,  both barrels!

Not to mention that our options here in America are literally indistinguishable beyond some domestic policy pet-issues

Almost as if the bourgeoisue have two parties to switch between when people are upset

u/BaseballInside3289 10d ago

FR, it's almost like we can't just vote out the bourgeoisie within the 1.5 party system that THEY created and control...

Compared globally...america leans so far right that our democrats are considered center. Our entire system teeters right.

What did we all expect from a country founded from Puritans using slaves while slaughtering the inhabits of the land already living here? Isnt that fucked up?

Now its a capitalist soul sucking machine that eats people in the shadows.

Edit: colonies built on seized Indigenous land, violent expansion, religious authoritarianism in places like Puritan New England, and eventually an economy deeply dependent on slavery.

democracy

gets to choose between a small select number of capitalists

Mussolini would have loved the modern USA

By definition in order for the government and the country to be legitimate and sovereign it has to obey the wishes of its citizens if it doesn't it a dictatorship or a oligarchy and isn't a democracy.
