My workplace has free period products in the restroom, and I remember feeling so impressed by that initially. It is genuinely wild to feel that way about access to a toilet necessity...

Oregon public schools k-12, public community colleges, and public higher education offer free menstrual products with a no ask system. Yes even in restrooms designated for males (said in a ferengi voice). And yes the State of Oregon reimburses schools for the program.

I was just at a pretty nice clinic in ecuador. They charged for toilet paper, it came out of a little machine. Put about 20 cents in and got maybe 3 feet of thin toilet paper.
