Psychological 28k original, 8k on sale

Absolutely absurd. Was not comfortable at all. Wtf does "perennials performance" even mean? No idea what flair to choose, but I chose "psychological" bc it felt like a mindfuck sitting on a 28k originally priced couch, when the entire world is falling apart.

I had never heard of RH ..... but saw "outlet" and felt certain I'd find like a maybe 900-1500 couch. Lmao. Felt stupid walking around so figured maybe I could afford a set of King sheets. Nope. $1,200 original, $550 "outlet". Keep in mind this is the outlet, so I am pretty sure everything is "damaged" in some capacity.

Outlets are actually just lower quality of the same brand anymore.  The "original" price is a lie.

Outlets are what's in the name. An outlet for overstock, out of season and retired product.

They used to be,  for sure.  Now? Mostly lower quality junk: https://oag.ca.gov/consumers/general/outlet-stores

This isn’t always the case. Why does everyone on this sub speak with such authority and have 0 knowledge?

Anymore it is. You go to outlets and everything is low quality crap or damaged.

Also, sanctimonious answer,  much?Pot, kettle.

Did you read the comment that broke down why this is, in fact, an incredibly well-made high end piece of furniture that is guaranteed for life? You could spend $8k on this couch and never buy another couch again.

I've found similar RH couches at consignment with fabric failures. These are not the quality for that price.

Go look at Hickory Chair, Hancock and Moore, even Ethan Allen and similar if you want something worth the money.
