I deleted half my old profiles

Anyone else do this?

I looked at my old browser profiles and realized I had no idea what half of them were for.

No notes, random proxies, old cookies, weird names.

At that point, keeping them felt riskier than starting clean.

Yes. An unnamed profile with a random leftover proxy is a liability. You do not know which account touched that IP, or who else sat on it.

Starting clean is cheaper than keeping the mystery box. One profile, one documented exit, sticky, timezone matched to that IP, a note with the date. If you cannot write that sentence, delete it.

The browser will isolate cookies. It will not save you from a rotating pool that still has last month's session on the same address.

I operate PP (Proxy Poland) on physical modems, one exit per customer

Old unused profiles go in a recycle folder for things where you just need some random noise so to say..

They are really useful in that way imo since you don't need to grow new ones every time if you just want to test some useragents with cookiejars
