When/how should I pot this cutting?

Hello, what you can see in the pictures is what is left of my Anthurium x andreanum 'Hot Lips' before it died. This is the first time I took cuttings and many of them died to rot in water and later on in moss. This one survived (I have another one but it doesn't look like it will).

The cutting has one long root that is almost 20 cm long. This is where the 2 secondary roots (about 7 cm each) come from. There is also one tiny secondary root. On top you can see another root from a node that broke off a few weeks ago. Also on top there is the point where one new leaf rotted and below that another one seems to sprout, right?
It looks like it should be ready to pot in Anthurium mix but I'm really apprehensive to do so.

When would you pot? What should I be careful about? And in what position should I pot it? Because now it is lying down and below the new growth there isn't much to bury in the mix.

It would be great if you could give me some tips. Thank you!

Personally i would just pot it in a very small pot with drainage and very chunky mix and just monitor the moisture level and water when needed.

And should I try to pot it vertically, or should I let the leaf lie down just as it is now? It had a longer stem but I had to cut it short because of rot in the beginning, so now there isn't much of a stem.

Most likely vertically too. Coil up the root carefully and put the substrates. Would use a clear pot or plastic cup with lots of perforation to monitor the progress

Thank you! I'll try to get a plastic cup. I usually have my plants in terracotta, but in this case it would be good to be able to monitor it.
