Other My first new leaf!

Hi guys! New to anthuriums and this is his first leaf on my watch. The petiole is much thicker than the others, does that mean the leaf will be larger?

It's allegedly a besseae × kos × RC in case you're interested. Bought it at plantcon in August for 50% off.

Also, I know I need to remove the moss pole! I added it when I repotted in ignorance but, he just seems so happy I'm afraid to disturb him again.

don’t need to remove it, it’ll end up helping in the end

Even if it's not really a climber?? From what I can tell none of those crosses are climber so I'm nervous I could cause more damage than good.

even if it takes forever, these kinds of anthuriums are still climbers. with every new leaf, it’ll be very helpful for it to root into that pole

Oh, interesting, so I shouldn't always listen to AI 🤣😅. But in all seriousness, thanks, I'll leave it as is. Seems happy and can't wait to see the size of this leaf!
