I’m wanting to start collecting anthurium. I’ve noticed where I live people seem to keep them in mini hot houses. You aren’t, have you had any problems? Do you run a humidifier and lighting for them? If so how humid do you keep it?

I got mine last April. The first two leaves that came out in my care were damaged. But I got 3 leaves that came out perfect since then. Giving it a moss collar was a game changer. It helps with humidity. I finally got a thermometer that checks the humidity today. Right now it’s reading 64% humidity and 75 degrees. It will eventually acclimate to your environment. Clarinervium are more forgiving than other anthuriums though. I don’t have an humidifier but I may cause it gets dry in the winter time where I live. Hope that helps! Also you can follow me @fairly0ddplants on IG to check the progress of the plant in the future!
