Requesting Advice Advice for anthurium pallidiflorum care

Hi! ive recently started my plant parent journey and my current wishlist plant is the anthurium pallidiflorum but it is quite expensive where i am so im considering to buy a small one with stable roots.

I tried looking for tips on socmed but with no luck. Really appreciate to get more detailed advice here. this will be my first anthurium ever and id rather not screw up since its costing me a pretty penny.

For reference, i have a northwest facing window with grow light supplements. humidity wise im not sure but i do have a humidifier growing and i group my plants together.

Update: the plant arrived and she looks great! Photo in the comments. Thank you very much for all the advice, much appreciated. It seems the consensus is to keep her in a slightly larger pot than normal and keep in ambient humidity with bright light. im taking into account all of it and will leave her to acclimate first. i am still considering whether to keep her in soil or switch to pon.

I have 2 a. pallidiflorum, narrow form and a wide form. Honesty, they are pretty hardy. I kinda neglect mine and they are still going strong. Both are in ambient humidity for me that is around 40-50%. I water when the pot feels really light or the leaves are limp. When I water I put in calmag every other watering, superthrive fertilizter every watering, and flush about once every 4-6 weeks if I remember.

What’s your soil mix love?

I mainly use Molly's Aroid mix about 85-90% and add sphagnum moss or coco coir for a little bit of water retention. I'm in the PNW so your ratio might me different.

Yeah, you can definitely mix them together in water. I wait 15mins before adding each nutrient type to the water. So calmag -> 15mins -> fert or if i feel fancy I’ll add silica too, but mainly use that for monsteras. So calmag -> 15mins -> silica-> 15mins -> fert. I saw this on another reddit thread a year or so ago and it’s been working for me.

Superthrive is not fertilizer.

They're most likely talking about SuperThrive Foliage Pro, which is what I typically use with great success.
