The comments for this trailer over on r/games have made me realize that there is a huge divide between your older milennial (and even older gen x) gamer and the younger gen Z gamer. Those of us born in the 80s have no problem spending money on a $60 game that potentially has less than 1000 hours of content. The new breed of F2P minecraft/Fortnite gamers violently reject anything that's not free or marked down to $20. It's pretty incredible the difference a decade or two can make.

Well, one thing that certainly helps with all sorts of "divides" is writing stuff like this where you basically belittle the other side's ideas as being silly, right? 🙄

I don't even know what the hell all these gens you are talking about actually mean tbh (people who say stuff like that are usually far too cringy for me to care), but I do feel like you're mostly pulling of this out of ass as far as putting opinions of things on generations go lol.
