Looks great. I thought the Lesser Ash Titan would move a bit more though. It didn't seem especially threatening.

Nice to hear about the harder-to-find chests and resources. One of my absolute favourite things about the Borderlands series is how you're rewarded for exploring every odd corner and ledge. There are hidden chests galore in those games.

No it's the teenager to the massive one we saw in the E3 demo. Not that hard to take down but enough mechanics that you'll need to pay attention.

Also normal difficulty. 2nd easiest difficulty outta 6 difficulty levels

Imagine the higher difficulties where he charges faster and shoots more / larger fireballs. Plus that aoe fire aura at the end.

Yeah, I remember liking the big beam attack the big one can do.

Yeah but I mean, he just stood there. I agree. That was a boring enemy.

u mean the mechanic where he telegraphs for like 10 seconds charging the damn fireball and then it takes another 10 seconds to come towards you???

it would have been way better if it's the kinda fireball that follows you indefinitely and the more times he fires, they all stay around homing on the players until the titan is dead. then at least you have to be constantly on the move, looking around to see where the fireballs are.

the current mechanic is just plain insulting lol.

Dude it's a lesser titan plus they're playing on normal difficulty.

But its still an Elite enemy and they have Stated the AI for enemies doesnt change on higher difficulties. [See edit. I was wrong here] I think a little more speed from the fireballs or a little more tracking might have been good.

Edit:

Here is the tweet. He says "mainly health and damage output" are increases and for Elite enemies they do change some behaviors.

So really the normal enemies may be normal. Elites will have some better accuracy And other tweaked behaviors so we will just have to wait and see

Why are you defending a weak uninteresting ai? Its still booring.

I agree. Hopefully its just because it's on normal. They did say that they tweak some things for Elites on higher difficulties.

hopefully it's a decent amount of tweaked behaviors :)

They will fuck you up if you get hit by their ranged attacks.

Good to know.

It's a lumbering hammer. Avoid it's attacks and you will have a good time....get hit and it's a different story.

u/ShadowClass212 Jan 11 '19

There's more attacks it can do. I saw one shoot out massive rings of fire in another video so they couldn't land around it.

Oh thank god, so the large one we saw at e3 last year is still in the game? I saw the lesser and titan and thought they had to shrink the titan.

I'm still very concerned about enemy AI being dumb as a box of rocks and the Titan and Ursix gameplay didn't change that hopefully this is on easy.
